A long time ago I used to work for a record store chain called Music Plus. When I worked at the main office I was part of the team that set up new stores ( among other things). One of the guys we worked with was simply called, “Ian the Painter”. That was the name he used.
What’s that got to do with genealogy?
The name Wynohradnyk means: grape grower. If my grandfather had kept his original last name, I’d be: Stephen Wynohradnyk or “Steve the grape grower”. Kinda cool in a weird sort of way.
