Hi!

Attached please find a Excel spreadsheet that I created to get all the data in one place before adding it to a genealogy site. One piece of information I am still searching is the naturalization date of both Grandmother Dorota (Dorothy)and Grandfather Gregorz (Joseph). As you can see by the file, Dorota's sister, Paulina (the Shaboski file), also came to Bangor and she was a few years younger that Dorota! Even tho I grew up with my grandmother, she never discussed her family in the "old country" which is a shame.

I hope this information is helpful!

Hi Shirley,

Yes, I am - I've just been too lazy to post anything. I actually some interesting material related to the Knickerbocker side of things.

Your Grandmother, my aunt Helen, was one heck of nice person. I drove by the apartment where aunt Elanor and her used to live in Inglewood a few weeks ago. The complex is still there and things look about the same. I spent quite a few hours in that apartment eating homemade cookies and watching them drink coffee.

I'll try and post something soon.

Evelyn, I would like to contact you about Sniatyn. Are you planning a trip there? My siblings and I would like to try to visit and check out the cemetery and synagogue records. My grandfather was born in about 1880, in Snaityn. I do not know what happened to the rest of his family.. He came to the US in about 1900. rtanks55@gmail.com
