My mom passed away 20 years ago. Time is a strange thing. In some ways it really doesn’t seem like that much time has passed, but in others it seems like she’s been gone forever. Here’s a picture of my mom, in her High School years, from about 1941.

Mary Bowden (and family) comes to America

Mary A Bowden was 6 years old when she came, with her family, to America. She boarded the steam ship “State of Indiana” at Larne, Ireland and arrived in New York on 2 September 1880. Below is a copy of the passenger list with Mary Bowden and her family.
